Types of foreign granite

Granite is formed from the hardening of molten masses. Molten material can form inside the earth or as a result of a volcanic eruption on the earth's surface. The chemical composition of igneous rocks is mainly composed of quartz, feldspar, plagioclase and mica, which in different igneous rocks have different ratios of these minerals.

The presence of quartz or silica has increased the strength of granite stones, so their durability is very high and can be used in different parts of the building. Granite is divided into two categories of internal and external igneous rocks based on the formation process. Internal igneous rocks have medium to coarse texture due to gradual cooling, such as granite and gabbro.

External igneous rocks, on the other hand, have a fine or crystalline texture due to the high rate of heat loss in the air, such as basalt and rhyolite. The most important and obvious application of granite is in the entrance part of the building or the paving of public places. In industrial halls, due to the presence of chemicals and acids, they are the best option.
